I design minimalistic user interfaces that emerge from detailed analysis of each use case. In my view user experience, user interface and information architecture have to act seamlessly together to communicate and navigate information, data and media. Through abstraction, simplification and modular design, even highly complex hierarchies of information can become understandable.
Design of Data Portal of The Photon and Neutron Open Science Cloud (PANOSC)
In 2019, I designed both the user interface and the concept for the information architecture of a data portal for leading European research facilities in the field of Neutron and Photon science. This project, supported by the European Union, aimed to turn open data into a reality as part of the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC). My design was partially implemented later on.

Concept Design of Information Architecture and Interface for Virtual Beamline Project
In 2018 I conceptualized and designed a portal for navigating in interactive visualization apps as well as various data and media that had been developed in the context of the Virtual Beamline Project that I coordinated.
Design of Information Architecture and Website for ELI Beamlines European Laser Research Facility
Around 2014 I took up a challenge to not only design a new website for one of the largest laser research facilities in the world, but also to first develop a information architecture that would enable clear communication of the lab to both scientists as well as general public. The minimalist modular website was online for around 5 years.
Design of Experimental Single-Page Website for Underground City 3D Project
In 2010, I proposed and designed a single-page website that aimed at uniquely communicating outcomes and process of a two-year multidisciplinary project supported by the EU.
